Motherhood is beautiful, but let’s be honest, it can also feel overwhelming. Between taking care of two kids, running businesses, workouts, meals, laundry, and everything in between, the house can quickly become one more thing weighing on your mental load.
That’s exactly why I created a simple cleaning checklist.
Instead of trying to tackle everything at once or waiting until my house feels completely out of control, I focus on a few small tasks each day. Breaking things down into manageable pieces allows me to stay on top of my home without feeling overwhelmed or spending entire weekends catching up.
The goal isn’t perfection. My house isn’t spotless 24/7, and honestly, I don’t think that’s realistic with little kids. The goal is simply maintenance and creating systems that work for this season of life.
I’ve learned that small daily actions add up, whether it’s fitness, nutrition, motherhood, or keeping a home running smoothly. A 10-minute tidy-up, one load of laundry, or checking a few items off my list may not seem like much in the moment, but over time it makes a huge difference.
Having a checklist removes the mental clutter of constantly asking myself, “What needs to get done today?” It gives me a plan, helps me stay consistent, and allows me to spend more quality time with my family instead of feeling stressed about everything that isn’t getting done.
Because at the end of the day, systems create freedom and every mom deserves a little more of that!
